I am deciding between Georgetown's MSB for finance or Northwestern for economics and journalism. I really want smaller class sizes and personal contact with my professors. I've already visited Georgetown and I LOVED DC, however im not too sure about the religious classes and the preppy student population. But Northwestern I also love chicago a lot and i loved northwestern when i visited.
Who is better in terms of career prospects and MBA placement?
PLease help!

Either one will be good. My brother was an Econ major at Northwestern and got a great job in Chicago his 8th semester where he still works, and now he's getting an MBA at UChicago.

I think Georgetown is great as well. There's awesome placement with companies in NYC and DC. I think for smaller class sizes you'll notice a difference at Georgetown. I know from my brother's experience intro classes at NU may be in the realm of 300 people, whereas they seem to max out at about 80 for Econ at GU. Classes in general once you get beyond the intro level tend to be fairly small at Georgetown.

my cousin went to Georgetown. He said there are plenty of big intro classes there as well. if I am not mistakened, NU is only about 300-400 kids larger a grade than is GU. Don't let that minute size differential sway you!
