My daughter is accepted to the 'college' at both, and we'd love some input. She's interested in possible history or economics major... wants to go to law school to become a lawyer.

So...
- academics and preparation for law school
- internships and other opportunities toward law school goal
- social life
- happiness, satisfaction of students
- camaraderie of student body as a whole
- dorms & food

...other thoughts? Thanks for your thoughts!

Hey, I have an idea. There is a guy that went to Georgetown undergrad and Emory law. His name is Derek Kung and he is an attorney in Richmond, VA with a firm named Williams Mullen. He is also one of the admissions interviewers i think. If you go to the firm website, you can bring him up and his email is on there. Try emailing him to see what opinions he may have.

Have you visited both schools? If not, I strongly suggest it. Each campus is very different and each has a very different feel to it. I have one child who graduated from G’town and another who happens to work for Emory, so I have spent some time on both campuses and they are like night and day in terms of the layout and location. Visiting might help your D decide. I can say that my child who graduated from G’town loved the school (SFS) and everything associated with being a Hoya and he will be attending law school this fall (hasn’t committed to one school yet).
