Which school do you think would be better for premedicine? I must add that I would be part of the Gemstone program at UM.

Well, in terms of having money left for grad school...the university of maryland would be pretty good. it depends what you want in an undergraduate school. they both are in good locations and can offer good research and internship oppurtunities, so i'd say that it will probably come down to cost for you.

yeah, i'd say if money isn't a problem, go for georgetown. If you're planning on using a lot of loans, georgetown might be a a very hard hit to your bank account :-/

I received a full scholarship to both. So no, money is not an issue. But thanks for the concern. I really am just trying to weigh out what my options are, and as always other peopels opinions seem to have soem stronghold in my mind. :)

haha, well then i would go for Georgetown. I've heard that gemstone at UMD isn't really an enjoyable program to tell you the truth.(no, i don't go to georgetown, i just think it has a much better program than umd)

btw, where in maryland are you from?

Where do you go to school? I am from Ocean City Maryland.

i'm still a senior in hs, from baltimore county
