I'm considering Georgetown or Virginia. Any opinions?

they are two very opposite campuses. UVA is very rural, an hour from richmond, not remotely close to anything else. I’ve spent time at uva to visit friends and football games. Charlottesville is a cute little college town.

what do you intend to study? Political science / government is GTown, finance is UVA.

Georgetown is in the most historic section of Washington, so it’s chill and not urban like NYU, but it’s still a city environment. The neighborhood is really classy and upscale, and the residential area right around the campus is all beautiful townhouses (a lot of which are housing owned the the University). DC really has everything you could want in a city (including an airport, which UVA doesn’t really have cheap or easy access to)
