Extended waitlist for the College - bio major from CT. I’m not sure if there’s a huge # of extended waitlisters or if it’s just because an extended waitlister is most likely to return to this blog (rejects and accepted students would have no reason to). Is anyone submitting a second LOCI?

International Deferred early action, waitlisted, then extended waitlist… i just wanna know!
This gives the impression that Georgetown has largely filled its 2024 class, but they are concerned about retention in the fall should they have to do remote instruction.
I would think that other universities that have waitlisted students will also eventually communicate that the incoming class is full but applicants can remain on the waitlist should circumstances open up spots in the incoming freshman class.

Extended Waitlist for my kid who is going to Pomona. From Virgina. Don’t think anybody was denied. We are full pay. Never heard of extended waitlist. Just sounds like a hedge on their part if internationals don’t show. Was anybody rejected?
