Is Georgetown strong in the sciences???

You might want to ask it another way. Has anyone ever known a student who has sought out Georgetown specifically for its strength in the sciences?

Milkmagn, you picked Tufts over Georgetown a while ago. End-of-story, please stop dwelling on it. And yes I believe Georgetown's science program is a diamond in the rough and know of people who picked it over bigger science programs because of the individual attention science majors receive.

I'd say it isn't, despite it being a great school. More known for international relations/foreign affairs (they have a school for it) and the humanities. I'm sure the sciences do well there though.

Are you still dwelling? If you are, please ****, relax, and be content with the amazing education you'll receive next year at Tufts.

If you're genuninely curious, then I'd say Georgetown has a great science program that unfortunately gets overshadowed by the SFS and other strong programs.
