I am a junior and this summer I will be a rising senior. Georgetown is my first choice school and I am really interested in the International Relations or American Politics programs. However, I'm worried. I'm smart and I've taken a lot of AP History courses, my GPA is a good 4.5. But, I don't know much about either politics or international relations, I'm just really interested in learning about them. Will I feel overwhelmed over the summer? Are a lot of the kids who go there really well-educated in those topics? I'm very interested in learning about this, but I'm worried about how challenging it will be.

And, overall, was the experience worth it?
