Georgia public school student

<p>Hello everyone, this summer i went to the summer seminar course at USC and absolutely LOVED it. Right now i am attending a public school in Georgia that is ranked 2nd in the state out of public schools. First of all i was wondering if going to that seminar will help my chances of getting into USC.
Here are my credentials:
GPA:3.4
SAT: math:710, cr:650, writing:620 (1980 total)
SATII: us history:620
Ap courses:3
Ib courses:2 (HL in english)</p>

<p>EC: -Cross country:9-11th grade, varsity:10th and 11th
-Wrestling:9th and 11th grade, varsity:11th grade
-Lacrosse: 9-11th grade, varsity: 9-11th grade
-Interact club project chairman: (a rotary organization at my school)
10th, 11th and 12th grades
-I tutor freshman students during my lunch period for community service hours -11th and 12th grade
-over 70 hours in community service
-Argumentation and Debate theory course at USC
-Debate team: 12th grade</p>

would anyone be able to tell me if the USC summer seminar students get some sort of preference? or if USC is looking for more people from the south?
getting into USC is my main priority.</p>

<p>Dunno about USC specifically, but guessing there is no extra bonus for attending their own summer seminar as opposed to that of another school. All the other colleges that I have experience with don’t weight their own summer programs any higher than those at a comparable institution. However, if your passion for attending USC comes out, then of course, that is a plus.</p>
