georgia state

i georgia state a good college for maketing? iis it easy to get into?

BB

For some, Carnegie Mellon is "easy" to get into. The word "easy" is highly subjective.

I will say that Georgia State does not have the best academic reputation. I strongly believe that US News rankings do not always correlate to academic quality, but, at the very least, Georgia State is not that well regarded by the academic community, seeing it is a fourth tier university.

As for difficulty, neither particularly selective or open in terms of admissions.

Median SAT: 1085
Acceptance Rate: 50%

well i live in atlanta so i can give you more perspective, in the atlanta area it has a pretty good reputation as a business school, with many of its students getting jobs with atlanta area employers, it isnt very difficult to get into, and is more of a commuter school

Georgia State has really come a long way, and now has many more "traditional" than "nontraditional" students. With the success of the Hope scholarship, many more students (commuter and dorm residents) have flocked to the school, and lots of money is being poured into it. They have bought up lots of land surrounding the campus and plan a significant growth, which includes additional dorm space. I believe they are planning to sell the dorm space located near GaTech what was used as the Olympic Village inteh '96 olympics. Since you do not give any statistics, it is not possible to tell you how "easy" it is to get into. You'd best look t their website for further info.
