<p>Hey everyone, I'm trying to see what my chances at Georgia Tech are (I am applying for early decision). I am currently a Junior and I'm an Asian Male living in Georgia. Thanks for reading everyone.</p>

<p>2080 SAT (780 Math, 640 Reading, 660 Writing). However, I am set to take it again in June.
Weighted GT-scale GPA: 3.98
Class Rank: 62/ around 400 (I go to a top 150 school in the nation)
AP's taken by time of application : 10
In addition to 10 AP's, I have 10 honors classes as well
Will take GT Calculus and College English senior year.</p>

<p>AP's taken: AP Government, AP World History, AP Chemistry, AP Calc AB, AP US History, AP Statistics. Will take AP Psychology, AP Biology, AP Econ (Micro and Macro), and AP Human/Environmental Science Senior Year. </p>

<p>EC's:
-Intern at Xin Times (#1 Chinese Newspaper in Georgia)
-Chinese President of World Language Club
-Green School (Environmental Club) Treasurer and Sports Recycling Coordinator
-FBLA Treasurer (3rd place in Business Math, 6th Place in Business Calculations, 9th Place in Business Communications in Georgia FBLA regionals, and 7th Place in Business Calculations in Georgia FBLA state)
-Novice Debate Team Co-Captain (Placed 15th speaker in state, quarterfinalist in 3 tournaments, semifinalist in University of Georgia Tournament, 86th speaker in the nation, top 25 team in the nation)
-Placed 2nd in Robotics at Fulton County Tech Fair
-Beta Club Member all 3 years and will be Senior Year
-Drama Club Member
-121 Reach Tutor
-Varsity Math team
-National Honor Society Member
-NSHSS Member</p>

<p>Senior Year predicted EC's: likely will be President of both FBLA and Green School, Chinese President of World Language Club, NHS and Beta Club Member</p>

<p>Also another question, will 1st Semester Senior Year grades count for GPA in regular decisions?</p>

<p>Of the people who took tech calc at my school senior year, every single one got accepted to tech.</p>

<p>Write good essays and you should be good. Just don’t put ‘Asian’ in the application if you can.</p>

<p>As for your first semester of senior year, IT COUNTS! I mean, if you apply early, those grades don’t go onto your application but GT will still look at it to make sure you haven’t slacked off. But as long as you don’t make C’s (well, C’s wouldn’t be too bad, just don’t makes you get too many) and D’s you should be set!</p>
