Hi! Early Action result for Georgia Tech comes out this coming Saturday and I am so nervous as the date is approaching closer and closer... I would like to hear if you guys think I have a chance or not in getting in!
Some information are:

GPA: 3.625 (not very high D:)
SAT: 2030
ACT: 30
10 AP classes
I heard being a female helps? I'm not sure, but I am a female.
Volunteering and extra-curricular activities

My friend that attends GT told me that my stats are above average compared to other females but another friend that also attends GT told me that I'll probably get deferred... I'm not sure what to think!

I hate to give you a non-answer, but you seem to be right in middle. You probably make the cut of applicants they deem acceptable but will look at more closely. Hopefully, you have the background that will make them see you as someone who will succeed there. It is not an easy school so they look for hard workers. All your APs should help.

Being female might help you a little bit. Also, what is your ACT subscores for math and eng? Tech doesn’t use ACT composite. Is your GPA weighted?

Match, their application rate went up 30% this year so even if you are a girl they want high scores especially if you want to do engineering which would makes sense cause thats what tech is know for. Also it depends on if you are in state, getting deferred is not the end of the world either. You number of AP classes should help a lot, Important to have AP Calculus for tech though!! GOOD LUCK I think you have a good chance, please chance me back for emory
