Georgia Tech Chances - Will chance back!

What are my chances for Georgia Tech?

Junior, Female, Asian

Unweighted GPA: 3.96/4.00
Weighted GPA: 4.88
Class Rank: 40/1000

Junior year classes (I do not know my 1st semester grades yet): Pre-Calc Honors, U.S. History Accel, English III AP, PE (Prep), Spanish Language AP, Physics Accel, Advanced Foods and Nutrition (Accel)

Senior year classes: Calc AB AP, Microeconomics AP, Physics AP, Computer Science AP, English IV AP, Consumer Ed (Prep), Exercise Physiology (Accel)

7 AP's all together

PSAT: 205
ACT: Don't know yet (Most likely 30)
SAT: Don't know yet (PSAT score of 205 x 10 = 2050)

Extracurriculars (Freshman - Junior year):
- Science Olympiad (11)
- FCCLA (10, 11)
- Peer Leadership (9, 11)
- Peer Tutoring (10, 11)
- BPA (11)
- Track & Field (9, 10, 11)
- (Leader) Relay For Life Team (9, 10)

Societies: Spanish Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta (soon), National Honor Society (soon)

Awards: National Spanish Exam - Silver Award, PSAT Commended? (Not sure yet)

Other: Very competitive summer internship at national science laboratory

If your SAT > 2100, then you have a good chance. Are you a junior or senior?

Georgia Tech’s definitely a match for you. If you’re anything like me, you’ll improve your SAT score quite a bit from your PSAT score (I went from 195 to 207 to 2240, mostly because I didn’t take the PSATs seriously at all). Oh, and my 207 was enough for National Merit Commended Status, so you’ll probably get it.

Anyway, as May2013SAT mentioned, you’ll be just about set if I’m right about predicting higher scores on the real deal. That GPA’s fantastic, and the extracurriculars look great as well, so there are no clear weaknesses in your profile.
