Anyone get Provost stuff??
@Fireball99 My S got it. Also looks like @graceann from this thread got it. There was no mention of Provost. From thread last year Provost was received via snail mail with no email notifications.
@blue44 Yeah, but in the Provost website this year, it said specifically that they’d email us

And after submitting the form; it still allows you to submit the DSF again? It does not say anywhere that we’ve submitted it?
@Rohitmohit no problem! I am not sure about sending multiple dsf’s…thats something you might want to ask ur gt counselor
Yes I understand. But do you have the same problem after submitting the DSF? I’m just paranoid that I might not have sent it… So for everybody the option is still there to send the DSF? Even if sent, the form is still available right?
@Rohitmohit My S sent his DSF and a couple days later he got email confirmation from GT that his DSF has been submitted. The DSF link is still there as of today. Also, when he logged into Buzzport, DSF is added to the list along with his mid year report. Green checks for both. Hope that helps.
Did everyone get the email announcing the notification of the Presidential Scholarship or just some people?

@ShouldBeWorking - The email says that ALL students will be notified tomorrow, semifinalist or not. Since it applies to everyone, I’d assume they’d send it to everyone as well.
@Fireball99 Yes, I received the Presidential announcement via email.
"We are currently reviewing applications for the President’s Scholarship Program.
All students will receive a decision online at MyDecision.gatech.edu on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at noon EST."
Does anyone know how common the Dean’s Scholarship semifinalist interview is?? Is it worth it to travel across the country to interview? I don’t want to go unless I have a solid shot, because I’d rather save my trip to Georgia Tech for April.

Also, where is the checklist on buzzport? All I see is the deferral letter… and i dont see where the checklist is? The application quickview is gone as well…

Where is the checklist showing the mid year report and DSF? Did it come after the conformation email was sent??
@Rohitmohit After your open Buzzport, click HOME (top of page). Click registration OSCAR. click application status. click fall 2016. You will retrieve the page you saw prior to deferral. Hope that helps! Let me know if you find it.
@sunbeams Thank you ! I found it… it says the DSF is missing and required… I guess we’ve to wait till they confirm receipt. right?
@Rohitmohit Yes, you will get email confirmation for GT first then it will show in your Buzzport.
@sunbeams Can you please go on the 'Deferred applicant ’ tab and tell me if it still says ‘Deferred Supplemental Form is now available’ under the 'deferred information ’ area? Or does that go once you’ve received conformation?
