***Georgia Tech Class of 2020 EA Applicant Thread***

How can I check if my DSF was received? I never received an email or anything

did anyone hear about provost

Not yet @mono1234

I was notified by email yesterday, so they’ve sent out the emails.

@gecage952 Does it indicate on your checklist though?
I got the email too! But it says missing on the checklist

@gecage952 @Rohitmohit When did you send your DSF?

Oh I was talking about the provost scholarship.

@gecage952 Sorry! My bad
@Rohitmohit My checklist says that DSF was received, no email though.

@sean26 I sent on jan 22nd… received email on 27th!
Checklist still says 'missing and required ’ on checklist though

Just email the admissions department. Go to http://admission.gatech.edu/content/admission-counselors to get details about the counselor assigned to your area

Has anyone received notification/awarded the Provost Scholarship?

Yes

@dcplanner Congrats!

Guys, where can we find our GT IDs now? Mine’s not on Buzzport anymore…

@Hermit9 idk if this will work for u or not. But try going to the dsf application. There will be a “get gtid” link. Click on that, fill in info, and u should be able to get it.

I dont think that link is only for deferred students. But I may be wrong

Whatever, nevermind. Did anyone else register for the College of Sciences thing on February 13?

@Xboxgamergirl OMG I just saw your post. When I made the above post it wasn’t in response to you! Now I feel like a jerk.

@Hermit9 whatever lol- jk. when u posted that, I was like "…i was just tryin to help "

But ur good! No need to feel like a jerk! I had a feeling that your post wasn’t aimed at me :slight_smile:

@Xboxgamergirl I think I started typing it before you posted.

Anyway, sorry about that, haha.

Was just talking to Admissions. They have received approximately 31,000 applications (15,000 for early action) , up about 4000 over last year, almost a 15% increase and about 48% were female, a huge increase because of their expanded Arts and Sciences areas!

Actually admissions rates are likely to drop to about 29% for the first time. It getting very very hard to get in there. It was 44% three years ago when my son got in.
