***Georgia Tech Class of 2022 EA Applicant Thread***

Accepted - Industrial Design, 1460 SAT superscore
Was worried about this because part of my portfolio submitted sideways, haha. I guess it didn’t matter.
Congrats to those who got in and good luck to everyone on CC, we’ll all end up at the school we’re meant to be at.

Accepted- Biochemistry major
In state Female
1430 SAT superscore, 4.0 GPA, 2/368 class rank
13 AP classes (I’ve gotten all 4s and 5s)
Strong ECs and two big leadership positions
I also have a brother who’s a student there.

Got the same thing. Still not sure of the logic. I presume it’s worse than deferred since Fall 2018 is not an option.

The A&S pathways program requires you to take certain classes in your major and maintain a 3.3 GPA. It’s explained in the pathways link from tech (I linked it previously)

@OtterOverlord Did they reject you because you already had calculus 1-3 plus differential equations?

Should we send a LOCI and the 150 word essay or just the essay?

How do we check if we received the stamps scholarship?

are we hearing about all scholarships tomorrow (namely the Provost) or just Stamps Presidential?

@ChangeTheGame thanks for your kind words!

Does anyone know when the Provost gets released? Also when the stamps semifinalists are released tomorrow, will they show if you are NOT selected or only if you ARE selected and where?

If I remember correctly, Stamps notifications were on the Buzz Portal around noon? It was at the bottom of the page. I do think an email came later in the day.

stamps notifications were just released via admission portal at 10 EST

If it were there would it be under personal announcements?

Aw, no stamps :frowning: But the chances were pretty slim I guess. Would I have a chance for provost if I didn’t even get stamps semi? Btw the decision is just at the top of the portal when you log in

the admission portal at https://application.gatech.edu/apply/status shows that unfortunately my son is not in the running for Stamps. disappointing, but still holding out hope for Provost, which website says will be released within the next couple of weeks.

Son denied. OOS, ACT 35, 800s on Physics & Math II SATs, 4’s & 5s on all APs, top 4% of his class of 730. great ec’s. His good friend was deferred, similar stats, slightly higher class rank and varsity sports.
