Hi! I am a senior and would like to know what are my chances of getting into these schools.
Race: Asian Indian
GPA Weighted: 4.3 GPA Unweight: 4.0
Class Rank: Top 10%

IF you are in GA i think you already know youll get into UGA. Clemson should be a yes. Vanderbilt you never know and GT it depends.
UGA: yes
Clemson: yes
Vanderbilt: idk
Georgia Tech: yes, but get your sat score higher, 2100 +
If you are a GA resident you are likely eligible for free tuition at UGA and GT with the Zell Miller scholarship. Hard to pass up.
@TooOld4School I’m also a Georgia resident too, so that Zell Miller is awesome
I’d definitely give the ACT or SAT one last try to improve it and get into GT. You can thank the good people of Georgia for supporting that amazing scholarship program for high performing students.
@TooOld4School @scubadive @GeorgiaGuy123 Thank You so much for your advice! And yes I will definitely try to improve my SAT score
You’ll also need to improve the SAT for Vandy (esp, the CR score). Keep in mind that Vandy has holistic admissions, so you have a better chance if there is something interesting in your application (not necessarily a long list of ECs, but something that might stand out).
@higheredrocks Do I have a chance for Georgia Tech?
Not an expert on GT, but I have visited and spoken with their admission person. You seem competitive, but if you have time, getting your SAT higher would definitely help. I’m going to make an assumption based on your username and say that being female will help as well. If you look at the college navigator site, you’ll see that the acceptance rate for women is 41%, while the rate for men is 30% (mostly because there are 2 1/2 times more male applicants); those numbers seem high because applicants self-select and are all very qualified. If you look at that site, you’ll also see that your 630 is the 25th percentile for CR (the 25th percentile for Math is 680, so you’re closer to the median with that score). Don’t forget that your rigor is very good and GT loves that.
I don’t see it for Vandy honestly. They love high test scores
