MY GPA is pretty low and my question is whether i should apply for Early Action vs regular decision. Because, if i apply for regular decision i will have my 1st semester senior year grades to boost my GPA slightly. But, if i apply for EA they will not see me 1st semester senior year grades until they accept/decline me. I was wondering if this is even important regarding EA vs RD for Georgia Tech.

If you go EA, and they think you have potential, they will defer you. Then you’ll be in the RD pool and you’ll send your first semester grades.

If you get rejected EA, that’s them telling you that nothing you could do first semester would save you.
