florida residence with 3.6/4.0 WTD. hoping to really supplement the gpa with strong first quarter grades
what is the unweighted gpa? Are you planning to apply to engineering, sciences, liberal arts, etc?

Main issue is what your price limit based on what your parents are willing to contribute is. As a Florida resident, do not expect much need-based financial aid from non-Florida public schools.
