Hey guys,

Does anyone know how Georgia Tech calculates their Georgia Tech gpa. Last year's average was 3.85 - 4.11. How do they get that number and what does it represent. I know it varies for each school so is it something Georgia Tech calculates?

Thanks.

i wouldn’t worry about it too much. They don’t recalculate like that anymore. they use to add .5 for AP/IB/Duel enroll but now its whatever the school sends.

Interesting to see the GPA range last year - I understand GT added 0.5 to AP/IB courses.
Does any one know the average number of AP courses per student in that stats?

The twenty fifth percentile was 6 and the seventy fifth was 11

Also, that’s weighted GPA not UW

Apparently this year they will not recalculate.

Really? So, they would just take the weighted your school provides? I guess that makes that range irrelevant for this year.
