Hey guys, I wanted to know if Georgia Tech was well regarded internationally, specially in Europe. If I study industrial engineering at Tech will I have laboral opportunities in Europe, specially London?
GT does well on the international rankings (based on survey responses), it’s typically a top 100 or so University. Of course, it’s not as well known, in Europe, as Harvard, Yale, etc, but then again we’re talking about Industrial Engineering…
Which leads me to the more important point, GT has one of the top ISE programs in the world, and it will well prepare you for a career in Industrial Engineering. The skills and training you’ll get at GT far outweigh any concerns with European prestige.
GT also has a year round program in France at Lorraine. In addition, I know some students are able to co-op internationally. Each year more and more international students apply to GT.
