Georgia Tech or Penn State for MechEngg.?

Hello, I'm an international student, with a pretty good shot of getting into both GT and PSU, which are my top priorities.
Now I am really confused as to which one I should opt for, as GT scores slightly higher everywhere in rankings, but I feel people are happier at PSU, if so does this affect the quality of curriculum.
AND the dreaded low GPA system of GT. Is it worth it?
The only criteria I am assured of right now is the cost- PSU is cheaper than GT.
If someone could elucidate the pros and cons with respect to
-Job Placements/Salaries
-Quality/Approachability of Professors
-Dorms and housing
-Safety
-Overall happiness
-Weather
-Campus facilites, gyms, recreation, food etc

I would be grateful. For eternity. I'll even provide you with ammo and Twinkies in case of a zombie outbreak.

-Job Placements/Salaries

While both have fine job placement for domestic students, both will have limited job placement for int’ls. Many MechE jobs require citizenship. Also, you’d need a different visa to work here.

Others can comment how hard it is for an int’l student on a education visa to get a MechE job and the right visa to gain employment in this country.

If GT’s heavy male ratio bothers you, then PSU would be better.

What is the cost difference? Doesn’t seem like much.

GT’s dorms have a bad rap, but I haven’t seen them in a few years.
