Georgia Tech or RPI

Thanks for sharing your experience. I dropped my son off yesterday for part of freshman orientation, and I still feel it’s a great fit for him. Each time we go to the campus it grows on us more. The students at RPI seem very smart and very friendly, and everyone there has been extremely helpful when we interacted with them in any way. The stats of the students compare very favorably with GT. The classes will be smaller, and it seems like the students are actively engaged in learning at RPI. Even the male female ratio situation is getting better, with this year’s freshman class being 35% female. They do a great job with orientation, bringing the students in for several days before school starts, and encouraging social connections in addition to studying.
