I am interested in engineering mainly bioengineering , aerospace and computer science. Which would be a better school to go to in terms of undergrad research and job opportunities after graduation?

Aerospace Engineering - Georgia Tech (5th) UCLA (16th)
Biomedical Engineering - Georgia Tech (2nd) UCLA (30th)
Computer Science - Georgia Tech (10th) UCLA (14th)

Georgia Tech would most definitely be your best bet in all of these cases. It’s renown throughout the Engineering world for its rigor and the capabilities of its students upon graduation.

Georgia Tech also spends a little over $225,000,000 for its engineering research expenditures, although that stat is around 2 years old, it’s probably increased since then.

UCLA spends little over $93,000,000, but again, that’s probably increased a little in the past 2 years.

I don’t know about UCLA, but Georgia Tech’s top employers are IBM, Intel, Cisco, and Microsoft.

yea i would say georgia tech is the better choice here; GT seems to beat UCLA in every engineering field

I’d say Georgia Tech.
