So, that's me in a nutshell.

EwoutvB

My application is marked as complete as well but I havent gotten my decision since i applied oct 31st. argh, it would seriously **** ME off if something was missing and it was still marked complete.

The completed mark might just mean the application itself, as in all the contents in the actual document you sent in not the other stuff. But even then it confuses me, one my friends accidentally messed up her Social Security number in her application ( heh i dont even have one) and they completely ignored it, she found it out herself!

So her dad fixed it last week when i dropped by as well. Really makes me wonder if they just kick some pile to the side that will get rejected anyway, or if they only check at the decision time.

Not necessarily.

I received my acceptance packet two days before Thanksgiving last year, and I was not chosen as a Presidential Scholar. (I was not even a semi-finalist.)

why is GIT so ambiguous when it comes to releasing admission letters. I too applied on the 30th and have yet to hear...

They will admit people who they believe are "above average". Everybody else is then put in a "regular admissions pool" and they decide on later from Jan to Mar.

it may not be my place to ask this question consider it digresses from the initial topic, however, I got my ACT scores today and I don't think it what GT is looking for

Composite: 24
Math - 27
Science - 20
Reading - 26
English - 21

What do you think.

Aerex, i'm sorry too say but that is way below average :( Do you have any hook that can get you in such as athletic, etc...? My SAT is low too, 1270 (750M,520CR). I'm waiting for Dec SAT to come this Thursday. Hope i did better.

Yeah I'm sorry to say that is a bit low.

On a good note for me though, my status check says app. complete so hopefully I'll get a decision soon.

well i guess i have to look in to my SAT scores tomorrow but my hopes probably won't change :(

accepted out of state (wv) as a semifinalist to the presidential scholarship...does that mean i am accepted to the university, did others get semifinalist status?

Got my SAT scores back so here is what i got

500 CR 580 Math -- So thats 1080, is that a bad score better than what I had before, my math score did not change though :(
