Surprised there’s not a thread for this. Is GT not transfer-friendly or something? Anyways, the first wave of transfer decisions was supposedly released at 5 PM ET today. Who got in?
Surprised here too! Well I saw there are around 850/2700 transfers enrolled in last
fall. You can see the profile here http://www.admission.gatech.edu/transfer
My status just changed to file under review, does anyone know how long takes it from this status to a decision made?
@workonfinal your decision is probably going to come out in June, had my status under reviewed for around 1.5 months and still haven’t heard back from them. Hopefully I can hear back on May 15th
@kevoo11 I know they will release decision on April 15th, May 15th and June. Just wondering do they just release decision just on those dates?
@workonfinal yep, looks like it…
My application just got put on hold until I receive spring grades. Is this basically the same thing as being waitlisted?
I just read a FB post from a friend of mine. His daughter just got accepted as a transfer from a small community college in Texas. She is majoring in industrial engineering. She was also home-schooled.
Saving this post, I am planning to apply to GT in the spring of 2016. Good luck
Anyone else receiving a decision tomorrow?
Hi, just got my acceptance for Computer Science.
hey, if you don’t mind me asking what was your stats?
Sure,
I am coming from NIAS (Japanese University) to Georgia State
Overall GPA: 3.98 ( on 4.2 scale, I think? They have +/-). When I calculated my Tech GPA it came out at around 3.86. Math and Science was about the same. It could be higher depending if they took into consideration my credits from Japan. I have around 60 credits. Also, I’m Hispanic and a girl.
I was wondering if anyone got rejected with the same stats as me.
Overall GPA 4.0, +/- 4.19. 30 Credit Hours just college. 74 from College + AP Credits. I go to another in state school and am surprised because of the result.
Industrial Engineering,
Asian Male
I am surprised you didn’t get into GT. What year are you currently?
I just finished my freshman year, but in terms of credit hours I am almost a senior.
