Georgia Tech(Undecided Eng) Vs CMU (CIT-ECE)

I got accepted in GA tech(Undecided Engineering major) and in CMU (CIT-ECE). So, I'm trying to figure out which would be the better engineering school for EE. I know that georgia tech is regarded as the better overall engineering school, but I dont really know how it compares with CMU's ECE department.
Any thoughts? Also, how does the UNDECIDED engineering major work at GA tech. Do you get to choose your major or do they give you whatever is left? If you get to choose the major, do you get to declare your major at the time you choose to enroll, or do you have to wait for a couple years?

Thanks for your help!

If you’re just looking for rankings, this will help.

Quality wise, GT’s and CMU’s ECE programs are essentially tied, with GT ranked 6th and CMU 8th.

Undecided Engineering at tech usually means you will take courses that allow you to decide on a major within the college of engineering. You can change your declared major right now if you would like through buzzport by sending an email from the admissions tab labeled undergraduate applicants, or you can change it at FASET. After you enroll, you have one free major change up until the point that you complete 60 hours of credit, I think. At that point you have to be approved by the department you wish to switch to, and policies vary by department, but are generally lenient.

Basically, you can change your major now or once within your first 60 hours and you are guaranteed to get what you want.
