It is for Chemical Engineering.
GT has one of the strongest ChE programs in the nation.
However, i believe the overall quality of CMU is better.

I am planning on going to a Grad School.
So...which one is more beneficial if i want to go to a grad school?

I’d say definitely Carnegie Mellon.

Public universities suffer from a number of setbacks that make it difficult to stems grad school. Their high student-faculty ratios cause letters of recommendation to be difficult to attain and there are simply less internship/research opportunities to go around.

I intend to pursue MS in Chemical Engineering. Which of CMU and Georgia Tech is better? My priorities are

1) Brand Image
2) Placements
3) Faculty
4) Research Opportunities
5) Campus life
