Georgia tech vs UIUC

both seem to be really good but i only wanna pick one of them.
which one guys?

What is your intended major? Are instate or out of state for any of the schools?

im an international student and my intended major is mech eng.

so well, thats out of state for all us schools :)

hey i got the foll SAT scores but will probably do better in my second attempt

maths- 700
CR - 570
writing - 650

thats a total of 1920, hoping for about 2050 on my next. ive also taken toefl and got 104/120

SO, would this be okay?

For Engineering, they are roughly equal. I personally prefer Atlanta to Urbana Champiagn, but I prefer the campus environment at UIUC to the one at GT. Another thing to consider if you are male is that Georgia Tech’s male:female ratio is 2:1, which is pretty bad. This is due to the fact that over 75% of GT students major in Engineering and the hard sciences. UIUC, where a much smaller percentage of students major in Engineering and the hard sciences, has a male:female ratio of 1:1.

Just go to Michigan. You have an equal school and a better camous environment.

I think his stats aren’t good enough for UMich.

Between UIUC and GTech, I’d rather prefer GTech, though both schools are quite solid for engineering and tech programs.
