Georgia Tech - What are the Odds?

Hi guys,

I'm a high school senior at my local charter school, and I would really like to get into Georgia Tech's Biomedical engineering program.

-No ACT
-GPA: UW: 3.365, W: 3.516
-APs: 4 in Chemistry, 4 in Bio, 4 in Calc AB. Currently Taking Physics C and Calc BC.

ECs:
-Member of local FRC team(junior/senior year), head of Marketing subteam
-Member of FTC Team, New Hampshire Champions(Freshman Year)
-Member of Granite State Challenge, Semifinalist(Junior/Senior year)
-3 Seasons of FLL
-Intern at Microscan Inc.
-250+ Hours of volunteering, 150 at a tutoring center, 100+ at a hospital
-Rec League Soccer
-Shaolin Kempo Karate, Brown Belt

I'm not worried about criticisms, so post your honest opinions, please.

I would retake the SAT.

I am, this October. Thanks for the advice!

I’m in the same situation. Same major and close to the same stats. Good luck!!

What are your latest stats ? Unless you have performed incredibly and have super ECs, no go for Gtech coz of your GPA.

Your SAT isn’t bad, but what did you get on the Oct. SAT?

Also your ECs are really nice!! APs are good. Your GPA seems a bit low, but I think you’re matched with Georgia Tech

My latest SAT Score was a 2050, but the superscore of the two is a 2140

also, there was a GPA calculation issue, so my GPA is actually 3.686 W, and 3.534 UW.
