I’m a girl, I’d be applying for mechanical engineering from Texas Early Action
SAT:2350
CR:750
Math: 800
Writing: 800
5 on World History AP test (not taking IB tests until the end of senior year)

GPA between: 4.95 and 5.00 weighted; 3.95 unweighted; top 8 or 9%

Will have a great rec and essays, and have extensive extracurriculars (marching band for 4 years; won an award at DECA internationals; 3 years of Science Club; extensive leadership at my church; along with 200+ Volunteer hours)

Will Graduate with an IB diploma and 12 IB clases (SL and HL English, History of Americas, Physics, and Biology; SL math and Spanish)

Band is the only class I have not taken as a Pre IB or IB class (school doesn’t offer it as an advanced credit)

(Does anyone know what their OoS acceptance rate is?)

Like everyone else has said, you’re most likely. Not to pry, but have you considered other schools like CMU and UCB? If you can, I’d say they’re definitely worth applying to.

You have a pretty solid Academic Index. That’s sufficient for even some Ivies! Anyways, just wondering, what are your predicted IB marks?

You’re in at Georgia Tech for sure. Even though your stats are good enough for it, being a girl makes sure you’ll be accepted 110%.
