Georgia Tech

I am applying to Georgia Tech, Purdue, UIUC, UC Berkeley, Cornell, U MICH for engineering. I know they’re reach schools for me, but I am curious about my chances! I am an international Asian student attending at a public school in VA.

I know my stats aren’t outstanding but thank you to all who reply.

I’m an asian international student in MA, private Catholic HS. I have new SAT 1480, TOEFL 114, and 5 APs. I think you are good for purdue and GIT, but for UCB and Cornell it’s best to have a TOEFL >=110, at least that’s what my agency said.

I’m a Junior that has gone to Magnet STEM school’s since 5th grade, and I have very similar stats to you. Georgia tech is one of my dream schools, so I was wondering if you got in?

@QueenaBean Georgia Tech EA result comes out on 1/14/17 (this Saturday).

Good stats

In at Purdue and UIUC. Berkeley is a likely rejection for engineering. SAT is too low for School of Engineering depending on your major plus you’re an international student OOS. Same with Michigan (likely reject). Cornell is a reach too. There are too many Asian males applying for engineering and your SAT is low compared to most of them.

Did you get into Georgia Tech?
