Georgia Tech's 4 Sciences Requirement

I know this is a silly question. My son has the stats to attend Georgia Tech and is a Computer Science major. However, GT now requires FOUR years of science, of which he only has 3. Sure, it is a last minute decision to apply, and perhaps GT figures the people who care about their school will know to take 4 years. He fulfills the math requirement and is in AP Calculus and his application is solid. We live in California. Any chance we could bypass GT's extra year of science?

That is a question that can ONLY be answered by Georga Tech admissions. I would not trust any answer you might get here as it would be purly conjecture.

Its hard to say. I would definitely contact the office of admissions on that one. I aalso think it depends on the sciences he has take. If they include things like physics or chemistry are any level of a hard science, that would put him in better shape. I’m applying too and I wish your son the best of luck! :)
