GEP suggestions

For the spring 2012 term I will be entering my second semester at UCF. Im looking into classes to take and im going to be taking calc 2, physics for engineers, comp 2, and im deciding between a historical gen ed or a course for my major (comp eng).

Here are my questions,

With English will a historical gen ed be to much writing due to the gordon rule and if not which our of western civ, humanistic tradition, and world civ is the easiest/least intense.

Thanks in advance.

I took Humanistic Tradition online with Crisafi and got an ‘A’. This is the thing… if you don’t care for history and just want an ‘A’, take him. I spent about 3 hours tops for his class per week. I never read the book. Maybe skimmed a little, but that’s about it. You’ll have to do discussion postings but you can find the info. online. For the quizzes, if I remember correctly, you get three tries for each quiz. This man is super lazy and barely grades the work. When you do discussion postings, just bs your way through and write a lot. Make it sound like you know what you’re talking about- I swear he doesn’t even read it. He stopped grading my work about mid-way through the semester but I didn’t care cause I knew I was doing fine on the quizzes and I was good at bs-ing his discussion prompts. For the final, just study all the questions from the quizzes and you’re guaranteed an ‘A’. Good luck! :)

P.S. Don’t take him face-to-face, I hear it’s a pain.
