German CLEP

Is it extremely difficult? I've taken German I ( lst spring,) but my cc doesn't offer German II in the evening or online. I also took two years of German in hs but that was 10+ years ago. I obviously will have to study, but was wondering how intesive the material covered was. And what about the listening part. I've looked on the CLEP website and that was helpful, but I wanted some personal opinions on the test.

Thanks!

The CLEP exam in German is very comparable to the AP German test.

I have never taken an AP exam, my high school did not offer AP courses.

When you looked on the CLEP website, did you notice that you could pay a $10 fee to download the information on the individual tests which include a practice test? I have heard from some who have paid this fee for the foreign language exams that the practice test does include a listening section. Taking a practice test is probably your best bet to determine if you truly are ready to take this test, and paying $10 vs. paying the $80 test fee (plus the test center’s proctor/admin fee) is a much better deal.
