German guy to top schools?

Hey people,

I'm really happy thatI found that great forum for College admission affairs!!! I would be even more happy if you could approximate my chances to U.S. institutions like Harvard, MIT, Williams, Reed, Princeton etc.

I'm attending german high school as a Senior with a GPA of >4.0 (my average mark is between A and A+). Since 2000 I've been involved in some research at different universities, got some invited talks on that and stayed for the last summer at UCLA. My first paper will be published in May 2005. I have attended some International Conferences around Europe and the US regarding Chemistry/Physics and International Relations. Several years as a student representative and tutor for younger students.

I guess my teacher recommendations will be the best and I have a good feeling about the interviews I have already taken.

As I have skipped a grade in high school, I have some intelligence test results that place me on >98%. Shall I submit them to the schools I apply?

Thanks for your comments, I really appreciate them.

Jeff
p.s. Will schools see a hobby like target shooting as a problem for visa issuance and therefore not admit me???

What type of school are you interested in? Harvard, MIT, Williams, Reed, and Princeton are very different.

Actually I am applying to all of them and I am interested in both the more liberal arts universities and the technology-oriented ones.

You're most definitely a great match to all these institutes. But try to avoid that shooting stuff.

Oh just another question.... Where are you originally from, Jeff? Seems like you're not from Germany...
