German vs. Asian/Native/African American Studies

Which of these courses is easiest? Is there anything easier that I can take to meet my R&C requirement (4 units for my first semester as a freshman)?

Also, should I take R5a, R1a, or R2a, etc.?

I'm a prospective bioengineering major.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but only the R5A/B courses fulfill the RC requirement.

any class not english is easy

I've decided on German R5a - they haven't shown the available teachers yet at schedule.berkeley.edu. Should I sign up for this class at CalSO? Or would E10 or Chem1A be harder to get a spot in?

My schedule looks like this right now:

Math 53 - Hutchings (signing up at CalSO)
BioE 24 - Mofrad (signing up at CalSO)
E 10 - Devine
Chem 1A - Stacy
German R5a - Unknown

I can sign up for 5.5 more units at CalSO since BioE 24 is only one unit

chem 1a is definitely very hard ot get into so id choose that one first and probably math or r&c. (most likely math cuz hutchings is top notch for 53) r/c u can find ezily in phase 2 as long as its not an english class itll be fine
