Germany's top diplomat to join PU faculty

<p>this has been rumored for some time, but now reality:</p>

<p>Former German foreign minister Joschka Fischer is to become a guest professor at America's ivy league Princeton University this fall, the weekly Der Spiegel news magazine reported on its website. </p>

<p>The 58-year-old ex-high school dropout is to hold a seminar on international crisis diplomacy. </p>

<p>Fischer who is still a Green Party lawmaker in the German parliament, signed also contract with the renowned New York-based think-tank, the 'Council on Foreign Relations'. </p>

<p>Germany's former top diplomat writes also editorials for a US press syndicate since May. </p>

<p>Fischer held the foreign minister post from 1998 until 2005. </p>

<p>dude... this is old news... its been like two weeks now, and the rumors started like 6 month ago...
but still, we're gonna miss him, altough he never got his hs diploma ^^</p>

<p>note that the "old news" was originally posted over month ago, and before it was even announced by princeton. the article linked in post #3 was published today, and concerns an ongoing war.</p>

<p>well... he gave his official press conferences just about two weeks ago, so I cant see how they could have posted the first article "month ago"... fischer himself never confirmed anything until he gave his pree conference...</p>
