'get ready' email?

Let’s just say they will come out on Monday. So that if they don’t come out on Friday then nothing lost but if they do that you can be the happiest person ever.

I agree with @ForeverAlone as previously stated. However, I will point out, while these withdrawals will affect those who are deferred and make it easier to get accepted in the RD round, they won’t change any of the EA decisions. They have already been finalized, the last few days before decisions are released Admissions focuses on assembling Financial Aid, Scholarships, and honors college application requests. They won’t just pluck someone out of deferral for the EA round and accept them if a random acceptee calls and withdraws. The reason being, they don’t have a ranked list of the people they deferred, so they would have to reevaluate (which they obviously don’t have time to do in two days) if another acceptance spot appeared, not to mention, Michigan doesnt base acceptances off of a specific number.

I think that sounds really likely.

they sent the email to us means they have completed the review of our apps…
im thinking they probably wont make any changes during the weekend

the process to admit a deferred student is gonna be more than just a second. they have to do a whole other application check process. stewta4 is right.

Yeah, there’s no way that they will change their minds after having only a weekend to re-evaluate the applicant pool based on who gets in tomorrow and Friday.

Plus, the admissions office is closed on the weekend. I would imagine they would want to get the decisions released, so they don’t have to worry about them come Monday.
