<p>with an interesting article about how families can shop for affordable college choices.</p>

<p>I was interested when I began reading the article, but it didn't really give me any info I didn't already know. The fact that 24 colleges have replaced loans with grants was news to me, but it didn't do me much good. I still don't know which colleges have done that! I also think the list of member colleges is a bit misleading, in that it piggybacks a discussion of schools replacing loans with grants. I don't think all of the schools listed have done that. The writer knows important info I would like to know ... I wish he'd share!</p>

<p>Good point, kelsmom. He could have made the piece more informative while still making his main point that parents should shop around.</p>
