Get them while they're hot: New Yale videos!

lol hahhaa
but Yale graduates surely aren't those kind of people...

ooo yale club of chicago just sent me an invitation to a pizza party, too bad i can't make it cause i have an academic bowl tournament that i already committed to. i was looking forward to meeting you, newt :p

That's so cool! But pizza? I'd have expected something fancier from the Yale Club =)

What happened in the second video when Margit Dahl's foot slipped in the floor? She was totally thrown off. Wow, I can hardly see the screen right now. I think the video blinded me; not really, but I see a rectangle of white everywhere I look.

My Harvard interviewer said we could meet at my house or another place where I would be comfortable. Definitely would not let any college interviewer into my home; too much pressure and thinking about how they're judging me...

Margit Dahl read my application! I feel famous by association. Booyah!

Yup, if I had an interviewer in my apartment, he/she would be greeted by a huge hole in the wall (and several smaller ones) that we had to make to fit a piano up the winding stairs. I had my Yale interview in a family-style diner during sort of off-hours (afternoon), so it was a casual but quiet (important, I discovered in another interview)setting.

I'd feel weird if they had to wat me eat too...

Did you mean watch you eat? For my Yale interview, I just had coke (she had coffee). For my Brown interview, we both had breakfast. I didn't feel weird eating in front of my interviewer, but there was really no time to eat in between answering questions. So then I had half my food uneaten, and I felt really rude because my interviewer paid. I'm also a slow eater, though. For most others, it might not be a problem. Just to be on the safe side, I suggest scheduling your interview for the afternoon, so you don't have to deal w/ this at all.

What Margit Dahl said about Starbucks is totally right. I had another one of my interviews at Starbucks, and I live in a really small town. Then I had to have my interview around people who probably knew me. Plus, the music was pretty loud and distracting. Awesome mocha frappuccino, though.

my interviewer showed me that video before we begin interviewing....how nice

lol really?! not the whole thing I hope?

and yea sorry :o I meant watch me eat...

hey, you're switching back and forth b/w the Yale board (my original home) and (the one that mentioned loincloths, your original home), too? I think I made the rounds of each more than 10 times and should really go to sleep.
