<p>It says that an access code is needed. Do students have the same access code on the paper score report from the freshman to Sophomore to Junior year PSAT?</p>
<p>I think it might be the same. My D took PSAT last year as a freshman. We set up her “My College QuickStart” when we got last year’s score sheet. So when I went to the link Mom posted above, and clicked on the button that says “previously took PSAT” it took me right to her page. So, I’ll keep checking it over the next few days and will let everyone know.</p>
<p>If it works as it has the last 2 years, the code will be different. You will not be able to see the scores online until after you receive your paper copy from your school.</p>
<p>That defeats the whole purpose then…The guidance counselor at my D’s school last year didn’t pass the scores out until mid-January. </p>
<p>But as a savvy CCer, I knew she should have received them and got a copy before the Christmas holidays!</p>
<p>Why not call collegeboard and ask? Or call NMCorp and ask?</p>
<p>I’m sending an email…According to their website, the PSAT parent info line closed at 4 pm eastern time. I won’t be where I can call tomorrow, hence the email…</p>

<p>I see that this person said they are open until 9 pm ET. The site I saw said 4 pm.</p>

<p>Scores are projected to be online in Mid-December, but remember students will not be able to access those scores without their access code from the paper score report.</p>
<p>Ask your counselor when those reports will be distributed at your school. </p>

<p>The believe that the school is notified first because the PSAT/NMSQT test is administered by school; meaning that the school arrange the test, order the test, paying the fee. The only thing that the student did was paying the fee to school. For this particular test, the student can not go on-line to college board web site and register for this test. It is not like SAT reasoning test or SATII where the studen can register by themselve. That is why the PSAT/NMSQT test result has to go back to school first and then the school will distribute to the student.</p>
<p>Once you get the test score report, open it and look at the lower right hand corner, you will see your access code. Then you can log in to College Board site and look at your PSAT test report. </p>

<p>You’ll know by about mid-Jan. Rejection letters go out the first week in January. So, if you don’t get one by mid Jan, you’re good!</p>

<p>Congratulations, Cortana. How many do you think you missed and what was your states cutoff for 2011?</p>
<p>400,000 fewer juniors took the PSAT this year than last. I wonder how that will affect NMSF cutoffs. 1000 fewer took it in Tennessee in 2009 than in 2008 and the cutoff dropped a point. It could be coincidental or not. Just something else to ponder as we wait.</p>

<p>What state are you in? How high was last year’s cutoff? How close do you think you might be? Do you know when you will get your scores back?</p>
<p>I live in NY. The cutoff is in the high 210’s but is unpredictable. I’ll find out in a couple weeks. :. I really don;t know if i’m close at all. Anything could happen.</p>
