Thanks excel.

I just looked through my email, and this is part of the email I got after I started my app:

Once you submit your application, you will receive 3 more e-mails:
The first to confirm your submit. Within the next 2 business days, you will receive a second e-mail when we download your application from the web site. The third e-mail will be within 2 more business days after we load your application into the admissions system.

Its obviously been more than 14 days after the second email...so that 2 day guarantee is off then? You guys got yours 10 days after...so this makes no sense...

This is what the email said:

I got this (my 2nd email):

Thank you for applying to the University of Michigan! We have received your web application and begun its processing. Be sure you have printed any required supplemental forms (such as the High School Counselor and Teacher recommendations for freshmen applicants that did not register recommenders on-line) and that you have requested official transcripts and test scores from the testing agency be sent to our office. Your application will not be considered complete until we have received these additional materials.

OK I got my UMID via phone. The guy said that it might take awhile, and he said that I should have gotten it via email.

W/E. I think it's b/c everything hasn't been entered into the system yet. The guy said UMich had my app and teacher rec but not my counselor rec/transcripts. Online it says they have my test scores, counselor rec and transcripts, but no app, which makes no sense.

I think that once Umich entered in my app (which would have meant I would have been able to see it online through wolverine access), they would have send me my umich ID.

In short, call, and wait.

***, it's been a little over a week now for me and I've gotten the 2nd email, same as epsilon's and I still haven't gotten my UMID via email and I called today and they are like "Umm, wait another week and see if you get it" so I mention people from my school who sent in their app 2/3 days after me have already gotten their UMIDs but I still haven't. And they are like..well, just wait anotehr week and hang up. Sigh, maybe I should call again and hope I get a nicer rep?

I hope I get mine soon! I applied yesterday, and I already got the second e-mail. I'm anxious to see if all of my recs/scores got in.

I wonder how long it will take them to make a decision.

OK I just got my 'email' with the UMID in it. Just for reference, I recieved it today, and sent my application in on september 14th.

Me too, I applied on the 14th and got it today.

Wow, so that means I have like another two weeks to wait. :(

Check the other thread i made people, its important, could affect when you get your ID

At the Wolverine Access website under Admission Application Status, I can't tell if they have recieved my materials. It just says my Admit Term, Academic Career, Academic Program, Application NBR, and Application Date. Is the Application Date when they recieved all my materials or have they not recieved any of them?
