'the GPA requirement for Arizona State University is 3.0 can i get in with lower ONE

It says ONE of the following, so if you don’t meet the gpa requirement, then you need to meet or exceed one of the others:

[Freshman Admission Requirements, Preferential Deadlines and Steps | University Student Initiatives](http://students.asu.edu/freshman/requirements)

"Aptitude Requirement

Students must meet one of the following aptitude requirements:

* 3.0 GPA in competency courses (2.5 - 2.99 considered)
- Top 25% (top 26-50% considered)
- ACT 22 (24 nonresidents)*
- SAT Reasoning 1040 (1110 nonresidents)*

*ASU does not require the writing portion of these tests. "

I didn’t meet any of the requirements and I got in. Same goes for a few people I know as well. ASU accepts just about anyone. Last year they accepted something like 90% of all applicants. Although it depends on what school you apply to. The business school is more strict on the requirements than some of the other colleges. If your worried about getting in you can always apply to the University College which is basically for undecided majors and then get your GPA up and transfer to a different school within ASU like the business school.

Would I be able to get in with a 3.6/3.7 GPA OOS transfer? I have a horrendously poor HS record, but will have a 3.6/3.7 GPA with about 65 credits.

I wnt to go to the main campus
