Getting 1500+ in 10reals but very bad on barron's

is this typical? i get so many wrong in barron's (verbal is all i checked) but in 10reals im getting consistent 1500+. im feeling a bit discouraged.

umm SAT tip: don't use Barrons.

The questions are so excessively difficult that they are simply not realistic of actual test questions. You could say that being overprepared is better, but why waste your time trying to learn how to do all the Barrons questions? You're best of with 10 Reals and maybe Kaplans/PR

I don't think many schools accept the Barrons, so go with the SAT or ACT.

*** Yalebound?? Barrons is a test prep... lol

SantasHelper, i think he was making a joke that obviously the real SAT is the best predictor of ur score so there's no reason to go w/ Barrons. unless i'm wrong.

well, 10 reals isn't representative of the real sat... barrons is much more accurate regarding "real sat simulation"... that's because barrons is actually based on past real sat exams, while 10 reals was made by a separate set of non-ets test makers.

oh by the way, just kidding. it's the other way around ;) GL with that

lol .

Yalebound, that was utterly hilarious. I laughed, its even funnier when someone didnt get it!
