I'm taking AP Bio. The curve is set so that only three kids will get an A, and though I'd like to be one of those kids, I know that realistically it's not going to happen. AP Bio is two periods long, and you receive a grade for each period. My current GPA is around 3.97 (2 B's: one in 8th grade Algebra the other in Trig sophomore year). I'm taking three other AP classes (Euro, US history, and English) and am expecting to get an A in all three of them - everybody does.

My question is how big of a deal will a total of four B's in one year be to the top colleges (HYPS, Brown, Columbia, Duke, Amherst, and Williams). My teacher is ballin', and most kids that take his class end up getting 5's on the AP test, so I assume that would make it a little bit better. Is this something I should be really worrying about?
