Getting a C In Calc BC...

hi friends. I’m an incoming senior and I’m freaaaking out because I just got a C+ in calculus BC ;( my teacher doesn’t round a 79.99% and I’ve just had a TERRIBLE time in his class the entire year, he’s uncommunicative and never answers any of my questions clearly…I just kind of gave up after a while. Lastly I was going through some family problems and personal illness and this teacher was ridiculous with my makeup work; I ended up bombing a couple tests because I didn’t know the material as I wasn’t in class. :frowning: So I WAS a straight a student, until this class…I’m taking calculus again at a nearby community college to see if I could just send colleges this transcript separately and show them that I had a tough time second semester. Can someone convince me it’s not the end of the world? Or is it?

It is not the end of the world for you. You are already taking a very rigorous class ahead of most people. I am sure your GPA is still at the very high end and this will not keep you from getting into some very good schools.

You’ll be fine, especially since you are retaking it.
At my school, .45 rounds to .5 and .5 rounds to 1, so every time see a post with .99 not rounding up its a bit sad.
Does the teacher just not round or is it school policy?
