Getting a C in senior year?

Does it matter how many Cs you get during senior year if your overall weighted GPA is still 3.0+?

No. Just get above a 3.0.

Thanks.

What does anyone else say?

Righteous is right. Just dont get any Ds or Fs

thats right

What if your grades slipped because of a death in the immediate family? My grades overall were significantly lower and I ended up failing AP calculus. Would that be an acceptable excuse? I'm still maintaining a 3.0 + gpa, though.

Eek. I would say the most important thing now is to let the college know about your situation ASAP. Don't let them find out on their about it; your offer will get rescinded for sure that way.

I would say your excuse is good enough; you should be fine. Good luck!

I know that this might be a wierd question, but whatever.

Is the 3.0 that you have to maintain your cumulative GPA, or is it just your senior year GPA?

From an email I got from UCI Admissions a couple of weeks ago:

If you are admitted, your admission is provisional and subject to your
successful completion of the courses you listed as follows:

Freshmen: courses listed for 12th grade (minimum 3.0 weighted GPA for
senior year)

Transfers: courses listed on your application and provided in work in
progress (WIP) reports. UCI will only consider all application information
and coursework reported in WIP by the WIP deadline (e.g., February 14 for
F07 consideration).
