I haven't got a mid year report from request yet but if I do, does a C in AP PHYSICS warrant a rejection? THe class is a joke because the teacher is so bad at teaching. Or if i do get accepted w/o the mid year report and they look at my final high school trnascript, will they take back their acceptance?

absolutely not. even if you got a C in regular physics. unless you are applying for that kind of major, in which case it might affect it slightly, but my guess is not at all.

You have nothing to worry about unless you start getting multiple C's. D's and F's are no-no's.

do you go to dbhs by any chance?

thats so weird! I got an C in AP Physics II too!!! I busted my ass that whole semester, and all I got was a 77.

I think I had a couple of C's in my junior year so I'm sure the admissions people saw that but I still got in. So don't worry, a C doesn't mean they automatically throw your app out.

I wouldn't worry about it at all.

My friend got a C in English...I actually thought she had mediocre stats. Good but not outstanding. Accepted to Cornell ED, they even phoned up guidance while reviewing her app for her 1st quarter grades.

I got C in AP chemistry and AP Calculus BC but they let me in, so I wouldn't worry about it so much especially with a difficult subject like that, they'll understand (even more if your major is something completely different.. like English)
