Getting a computer job with low GPA

Hi everyone:
I am a fourth year undergrad student in UC Berkeley majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science(focus on CS), and I am going to graduate on May 2011. I feel stressful recently because a lot of my friends begin to get some job offers but I don't. I think that's because my GPA which is only 2.93. I used to get some interview chances but get rejected after they received my transcript.
I want to get some suggestions or ideas from you guys see how I can get a job in my field with my GPA. Of course, I am trying to boost up my GPA in my last two semesters.

-Thanks

Do not be discourage. It is still early in the recruitment cycle. Make sure you use your school’s Career Center/Office and keep on applying for jobs. 2.93 GPA is fine with an EE degree from UCB. Also use whatever resources available from your school regarding resume writing, interviews, etc. Every little bit of effort counts in this tough economic situation.

I wonder what people will do when they can’t say “it’s the economy” anymore? FYI hiring is up 14% for 2011 college grads.

You automatically assume it’s your GPA that turned them away. Ever consider it was poor interviewing skills?

Thanks for the responses. The reason that I impute my situation to my GPA is the fact that some of my friends apply the same job and they get the interview chances but I don’t. The only difference I find is they have GPA around 3.5 (I also have 1 internship experience while they don’t). If I don’t even have to chance to interview, good interviewing skills doesn’t help anyway.
