Getting a D in AP calc my first semester of senior year

I have finished all my a-g requirements except for AP gov. I am wondering if my d in my first semester in AP calc will ruin my chances into a UC and whether I should drop Ap calc for my 2nd semester

The UC’s provisional admission contract states that you need to pass all a-g courses with a C or higher. No D’s or F’s which could result in your acceptance being revoked. You also need to contact the UC’s if you do end up with a D or F after you submit your application.

Any way to withdraw from the course instead of getting a D?

Here is an example of a UC provisional contract:
Complete all senior year courses as listed on your application.
Maintain at least a weighted 3.0 senior year GPA in UC-approved courses.
The following situations may result in the withdrawal of your admission offer:
a) any D or F grades in your senior year a-g courses,
b) taking courses that are less rigorous than reported on your application,
c) not maintaining UC Eligibility.
